Job Description Colliers is seeking an experienced
General Manager- Business Development
to lead and grow our
FitoutDesign
business across India. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, an established network across major Occupiers, and a proven track record of driving large-scale business growth in the Real Estate and Interior Design sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a national business development strategy for the Interior Design vertical.
Leverage strong industry connects to secure partnerships with top
Interior Designers, Large Occupiers, Architects, contractors, brokers and corporate clients
across India.
Identify new business opportunities in Commercial, and luxury interior segments.
Drive end-to-end business acquisition, from lead generation to closure.
Build strong relationships with CXOs, senior leadership teams, and key decision-makers in the real estate ecosystem.
Collaborate with internal design, project execution, and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Requirements
10-12 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in Interior Design, Project Management, Architecture, Construction, or related industries.
Strong, established industry network across India especially with Interior Designers, brokers, architects, and corporate clients.
Proven ability to drive business growth and close high-value deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with design, project, and operations teams.
Strong strategic thinking and market understanding.
Willingness to travel across India as required.
Qualifications MBA /BBA or equivalent degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Real Estate (preferred).
