The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Software Engineering Manager** to support our Avionics Software Engineering located in **Everett, Washington**. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization. We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineering Leader specializing in certification for supplier-developed software within the Avionics domain. This leader will be instrumental in fostering and sustaining relationships throughout the production value stream, collaborating closely with peers in engineering, operations, and supply chain.
The role encompasses project oversight, software development, implementation responsibilities, and a strong focus on quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software development, particularly in DO-178 certification for high-criticality systems, along with exceptional leadership capabilities.**Position Responsibilities:** **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):** 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry or similar high-tech industry 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, and business partners2+ years of experience in a leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence changeExperience in team building, coaching, leading cross-functional teams, motivating and engaging team members **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** Experience in technical management and oversight of projects and resources. Familiarity with FAA DO-178, DO 330, ARP 4754 certification
