We are actively recruiting for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to support our bustling operations in Austin, Texas. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to the smooth running of our distribution center. This includes receiving incoming shipments, accurately stocking inventory, picking and packing orders for shipment, and assisting with general warehouse organization and cleanliness. You will be expected to operate various warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all established procedures. This role demands a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety. We provide a supportive team environment and comprehensive training to ensure your success. Understanding the flow of goods within a logistics network is key. You'll have the opportunity to learn various aspects of warehouse management and contribute to a high-volume operation. Your contribution is vital to meeting customer demands and ensuring timely delivery of products. We provide necessary PPE and adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure your well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying counts and quality.
- Accurately stock shelves and storage locations using appropriate methods.
- Pick and pack items according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially concerning Safety.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we offer training.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures.
