Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our supply chain and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures, ensuring all staff comply with regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety standards.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all PPE requirements.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the warehouse operations.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics role. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Must be comfortable with physical demands, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. A commitment to safety is paramount, and adherence to all PPE guidelines is mandatory. Familiarity with various shipping and receiving procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in logistics or a related field preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
