*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients, helping children achieve their full potential. Your expertise will support early intervention efforts and foster meaningful improvements in speech, language, and social communication skills. This position is for a new clinic with potential for a clinic manager role.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage.
* Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication, and oral-motor skills.
* Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent support across settings.
* Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies to optimize outcomes.
* Educate families on home exercises and strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of clinical sessions.
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
*Experience*
* Prior experience working with pediatric populations in school settings or clinical environments is highly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to early intervention and school-age children.
* Familiarity with patient care protocols related to pediatrics and developmental milestones.
* Ability to interpret physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions.
* Experience conducting patient assessments using medical terminology and understanding anatomy relevant to speech-language pathology.
* Knowledge of early intervention practices to support children from infancy through school age. Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
