Mammography Technologist - Providence Imaging Center at Providence summary: The Mammography Technologist performs mammographic examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, using advanced radiologic equipment to diagnose patient conditions with consideration of individual patient needs. The role requires certification and training in radiologic technology and mammography, with preferred clinical experience in the field. Under supervision of a Radiologist performs mammographic examinations utilizing a variety of sophisticated radiologic equipment in the diagnosis of patient condition, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age related needs. Coursework/Training: Graduate of an ARRT approved program. National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists National Registered Technologist - Mammography 2 years clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist. ~1 year clinical experience as a Mammographer.
