They also manage educational and community relations activities to enhance the facility’s image and effectiveness in serving psychiatric patients. This role requires a Master's degree and clinical experience in behavioral health to deliver comprehensive social services within a healthcare environment. To provide a coordinated community outreach and assessment service for the program. To provide crisis assessment and referral for patients in Emergency Departments, Medical Units, Walk-In Clinics, Medical Offices and other settings. To coordinate the education and community relations activities of the treatment staff. To help develop and implement strategies which result in a positive community image and assists the facility in meeting its goals of serving people with psychiatric and behavioral health problems.
