Description Responsibilities
Design quality assurance and test processes for typically Internet-based applications, sites and platforms.
Analyze design and determine test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identify, debug, and create for issues with code and integration into software and firmware architecture.
Use industry standard testing tools but also be able to develop tools, environments and scripts to automate test execution.
Represent the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
Maintain documentation of testing to assist in debugging software.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Ensure 508 accessibility requirements are met
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalentpreferred
Minimum 4-6 years experience
Knowledge and Skills
Using software quality assurance tools and processes.
Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
Experience with web application and website design, including CMS functionality
Experience with Sitecore, Kentico or other .NET enterprise technology a plus
Experience with WordPress, Drupal or other Open source technology a plus
