Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory aging, identify slow-moving items, and recommend actions.
- Ensure compliance with all inventory control policies and procedures.
- Generate inventory reports and provide analysis on stock movement and valuation.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Implement strategies to minimize inventory shrinkage and optimize stock rotation.
- Ensure all inventory handling adheres to safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in inventory management processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; further education is advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flows.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Capability for moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs) and other physical tasks as needed.
