We are seeking a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this comprehensive role, you will contribute to various aspects of our warehouse operations, including picking, packing, sorting, and shipping products. This position is key to ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, playing a vital role in our Logistics network. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to Safety. You will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing various equipment and adhering to strict Safety protocols. We provide the necessary PPE and expect all associates to use it diligently.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Sort and organize products for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock counts.
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and documented.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures meticulously.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while on duty.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is beneficial.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is a plus.
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE.
