This role requires a deep understanding of frontend technologies, design principles, and user experience best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, user-centric applications.**Responsibilities*** **Design and Develop User Interfaces:** Architect, code, and maintain frontend components using modern technologies and best practices to ensure high performance, usability, and responsiveness.* **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.* **Optimize and Improve Existing Interfaces:** Continuously monitor and optimize frontend performance. Identify user experience issues and implement improvements to enhance usability and engagement.* **Ensure Code Quality:** Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.* **Implement Design Best Practices:** Ensure frontend systems adhere to design standards and guidelines, and collaborate with the design team to create cohesive and visually appealing interfaces.* **Mentor Junior Engineers:** Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to help them grow their technical skills and career.**Qualifications*** **Experience:** 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building user-centric and visually appealing interfaces. Proficiency in languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular.* **Technical Skills:** Deep understanding of frontend technologies, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.* **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.* **Collaboration:** Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.* **Adaptability:** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.***Equal Opportunity Employer**: At Athena, we are deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace environment.
