Job Overview Regent Strategic Solutions Inc is hiring Data Scientists for a 6-month W2 contract based in Mountain View, CA. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex datasets and build models that solve real-world business challenges. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, programming, and data visualization skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain analytical models using machine learning techniques including regression, decision trees, and NLP
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate actionable business insights
Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik or Tableau
Write efficient SQL and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and processing
Conduct ad hoc analysis to support cross-functional initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Hands-on experience with Tableau or Qlik for data visualization
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and practical application
Familiarity with GenAI technologies is a plus
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
