About

The Director of Advanced Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and execution of advanced analytics initiatives to inform business strategy and promote drive data-driven decision-making. This role will utilize advanced prescriptive analytics to be a bridge between business intelligence and data science to provide applied strategies for business stakeholders. The Director will lead a team consisting of full-time and student employee resources.* Experience with A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference.* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and data enrichment.* Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.* Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.* Strong programming skills in Python or for data analysis and model building support.* Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SPSS).* Expert proficiency in conveying data insights though visual and written form appropriate for executive audiences.* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate findings.* Working knowledge of cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).* Ability to leverage cloud technologies for scalable data processing and analysis.* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. Passion for experimentation and innovation.* Ability to align analytics initiatives with business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making.* Skill in identifying and prioritizing high-impact analytics projects.* Skill in applying analytical insights to solve real-world business problems.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to think critically, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions from data.* Creative problem-solving approach to tackle complex challenges.* Passion for using data to drive informed decisions and improve business outcomes.* Ability to advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization.* Commitment to data integrity and ethical data practices.* Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.* 7+ years of experience in analytics and/or data science roles.* Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Marketing Platform technologies and/or equivalent technologies.* Familiarity with agile project methodologies.**Benefits*** Hybrid work schedule.
