We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Revenue Planning & Analysis to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of revenue forecasting and analysis, ensuring compliance with revenue accounting standards and driving strategic insights to optimize revenue performance. About The Team Ivanti’s Finance organization plays a pivotal role in maintaining the fiduciary duty of the business while also being a valued business partner for the company. Through a data-driven approach and continuous dialogue with our partners, our team provides operational insights that are timely, accurate, and actionable and drive better business decisions to help us achieve our overall goals of SaaS transformation. What You Will Be Doing Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust revenue forecasting models based on historical data and business insights. Lead the revenue planning process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Operations. Monitor and analyze revenue streams, identifying key drivers and trends to support business decision-making. Ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies and accounting principles (e.g., ASC 606) to uphold financial integrity. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on revenue growth opportunities and risk management strategies. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership, summarizing financial performance and forecasting outcomes. Lead and coach members of the Revenue planning & analysis team. To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred). Proven experience (10 years) in revenue forecasting and analysis within the software industry or related sectors. In-depth knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and their application to complex business scenarios. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lead cross-functional initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with enterprise software or SaaS revenue models. Prior leadership experience managing a team of analysts or finance professionals. Roadmap for Success Build relationships with key stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT to understand their roles and how they contribute to revenue planning and analysis. Establish regular reporting cadence for monitoring key revenue metrics and performance indicators. Monitor the impact of changes on revenue projections and refine models based on actual performance data. Develop a long-term strategic roadmap for revenue planning and analysis, aligning with company growth objectives.
