These solutions are typically new technical capabilities and/or the transformation of business processes to support continuously evolving sales motions, expanding Geo coverage and routes-to-market, and growing complexity of sales plays.
Description Apple’s Worldwide Sales Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Manager to lead central initiatives aimed at optimizing and centralizing our global sales processes related to Partner Incentive payouts. In this M2 role, you will be responsible for leading a team of BPR professionals, overseeing complex programs and projects, and driving significant improvements in sales and process efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience across Apple’s diverse sales channels. You will partner closely with senior leadership across Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Contracts, and Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) to find opportunities, design innovative solutions, and implement transformative changes that support Apple’s continued growth and market leadership.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Vision:
Define and champion the BPR roadmap for Worldwide Sales, aligning with overall business objectives and strategic priorities.
Identify and prioritize key capabilities and process improvement opportunities across partner management lifecycle as part of overall sales lifecycle, to bring standardization and efficiency, and ensure visibility and insights for senior leadership.
Develop and articulate a clear vision for process excellence within WW Sales.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of BPR analysts, project managers, and/or Salesforce solution architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure team members achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional results.
Manage resource allocation and project assignments to increase team impact.
Unblock team members, resolve conflicts, and optimize team performance.
Manage competing priorities for your team and business and help develop a robust roadmap and project timeline plan.
Program and Project Management:
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple complex BPR programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, appropriate prioritization and the team focus, and achievement of desired outcomes.
Apply an execution model that ensures E2E cross-functional alignment, planning, and collaboration for dependent capabilities in a highly complex environment.
Define and apply an operating model that serves our specific business needs and brings agility, quality, and speed to program execution, user adoption, and change management.
Manage program budgets, risks, and dependencies effectively.
Process Design & Optimization:
Lead the analysis of current-state sales processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Help design future-state processes that use procedures, technology, and data-driven insights to enhance sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
Ensure process documentation, including process flow, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
Partner Engagement & Change Management:
Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across WW Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Contracts, and Sales Engineering.
Influence and gain consensus for proposed changes, effectively communicating the value proposition and impact of BPR initiatives.
Conduct staff meetings, SteerCos, and regional updates, while guiding the team on strategy, agenda setting, and managing risks, issues, and challenges.
Ensure the right level of communication up and down the chain to ensure desired outcomes and right decision making.
Experience in creating polished executive presentations and “storytelling through data” to communicate effectively, and achieve right level of leadership engagement with right decision making.
Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Performance Measurement & Impact:
Establish clear metrics and indicators to measure the success and impact of BPR initiatives.
Monitor performance post-implementation, analyze results, and drive continuous iteration and improvement.
Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Business Process Re-engineering, Sales Operations, Management Consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on sales processes.
5+ years of proven experience leading and managing teams, including managers (M2 level experience).
Deep expertise in sales methodologies, sales tools (e.g., CRM, Contracts Lifecycle, Financial payments, Reporting), and the end-to-end sales lifecycle in a global enterprise.
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, complex process transformation programs from conception to successful implementation.
Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions.
Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
Strong understanding of change management principles and experience driving organizational adoption.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in a global organization, understanding regional nuances and driving global standardization where appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile methodologies.
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL).
Familiarity with Apple’s product ecosystem and sales channels.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Operations, Engineering
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $188,000 and $282,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
