Job Description We are seeking a
Senior Manager, People Analytics Insight Partner
located in Foster City, CA. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and distilling information about our people to drive decisions from pre‑hire to post‑termination. You will work with a world‑class People Analytics team to design approaches for efficiently connecting data, apply diverse methods to uncover hidden patterns, and share data‑driven narratives with leaders, HR business partners, and the public.

Key Role Responsibilities
Consult with HR, executive, and cross‑functional stakeholders to convert business challenges into accurate analyses and crisp insights.
Design and automate analytics processes to deliver compelling insights at scale.
Integrate and analyze complex datasets using diverse methods (e.g., survival analysis, machine learning, text analysis).
Evaluate the impact of programs, decisions, and events on our company’s talent and reputation.
Articulate data‑driven narratives that vividly reflect key dynamics and deeply resonate with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
BA or BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years with a master’s degree.
Experience in People/HR analytics, business analytics, industrial/organizational psychology, consulting, or a similar field.
Integrity – uncompromising about doing what’s right and respecting employee data.
Analytical mindset – fluency in metrics and statistics, visualization, survey methodology, data management, etc.; approach problems with humble curiosity.
Desire to contribute – an opportunity‑oriented culture with emphasis on effort and impact.
Concise communication style and ability to simplify complex concepts.
Efficiency, organization, and attention to impactful details.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Hybrid role – on‑site at least three days per week in Foster City, California.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to proactively drive projects while working collaboratively.
Proficiency in Python, R, ThoughtSpot, AWS, Workday, and/or Tableau.
Experience with machine learning or other advanced statistics (e.g., latent growth curve modeling).
10+ years of relevant experience in People/HR analytics, business analytics, industrial/organizational psychology, consulting, or a related domain.
Background in human resources and consulting.

The salary range for this position is: $182,070.00 – $235,620.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock‑based long‑term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
