Manager, Consulting Analytics – Allocation Fiducient Advisors provides tailored and personalized investment consulting services to clients such as retirement plan sponsors, endowments and foundations, private clients, and financial institutions. The Manager, Consulting Analytics – Allocation, is responsible for the direct management of a group of Consulting Analysts; and, for the implementation and oversight of the firm’s policies and procedures and best practices to meet the needs of the Trustee Directed (Allocation) business lines and clients we serve.
Responsibilities
Maintain high level of analyst responsibilities and service on assigned clients
Serve as a strategic partner with Director, Business Council leads and the Director of Institutional Consulting, demonstrating a keen understanding of the goals and objectives of the organization and the Trustee Directed business lines
Participate directly in aligning the Analyst team’s objectives to best meet the needs of the Business Councils and client base
Teach, coach, develop, and engage Consulting Analytics colleagues while promoting best practices and adherence to policies and procedures
Assist the Director of Consulting Analytics (Allocation) in creating, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a high-quality and consistent client service experience
Act as a team resource and conduit between the Consulting Analytics Team, firm Business Councils, and other departments to develop optimal solutions that benefit the client experience
Possess niche expertise in ERISA, Defined Benefit, and/or Endowment & Foundation client concepts and practical implications
Directly manage a group of Consulting Analysts
Participate directly in staffing decisions
Coordinate all onboarding and training of new hires
Engage regularly with direct reports with ongoing check-ins to assess training needs, coach, solicit and provide feedback, drive engagement, and develop knowledge and key skills
Review project related client deliverables
Participate directly in reviews of reallocations prior to implementation, ensuring Consulting Analyst has adhered to policies and procedures
Participate directly in evaluations of direct reports to include quarterly check-ins and the annual performance review
Foster a collaborative, team-based culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement in meeting the needs of internal and external clients
Assist with quality control and the review of client deliverables, project materials, and training materials
Serve as back up for other managers and Director
Actively foster a collaborative and supportive spirit with Consulting Analytics direct reports and team colleagues across the team
Required Education, Professional & Technical Experience
Bachelor’s degree required with a preferred concentration in Economics or Finance
Five (5) to ten (10) years of investment consulting or investment-related work experience
Minimum of five (5) years in a role similar to that of a consulting analyst with demonstrated leadership skills
CFA or MBA achieved or in-progress a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required
Expert in relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a proven leader in promoting best practices
Previous experience with CRM, custody portals, and asset allocation modeling software
Advanced knowledge of capital markets and asset allocation structure
Intellectual curiosity about investments, asset allocation and portfolio structure
Advanced to expert knowledge of Retirement Plan (DB) and Nonprofit Institutions marketplaces
Thoughtful ability to establish rapport and build relationships.
Exceptional communication in a public setting with notable writing and presentation skills.
Adaptability when priorities shift and able to work independently.
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

This role may travel up to 25% of the time for training and or business/events.
This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.

The base salary range for this position is $98,000-$130,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
