As part of engineering leadership, you will serve as an expert in software design & architecture with a proven track record of executing large initiatives using agile practices. As a leader, you are passionate about continuously improving our processes, practices and technology stack and help create a culture of high—performance.**Supervisory Responsibilities:*** Responsibility for providing supervision and leadership for project team members**Duties/Responsibilities:*** Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers working on applications using .NET and other related technologies.* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical strategies and deliver high-impact solutions.* Oversee software architecture, development, and deployment processes, ensuring best practices are followed.* Drive cloud adoption and optimize application performance on Azure Cloud* Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through effective code reviews and engineering standards.* Identify and mitigate technical risks while balancing business needs with technical constraints.* Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth within the team.* Hold daily/weekly meetings with clients/vendors/internal resources on project initiatives and deliverables* Act as the primary contact for software-related items.**Required Skills/Abilities:*** Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related industry experience* 5+ years hands-on development experience including coding, maintenance, architecture and design* 3+ years successfully leading and managing a team to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines from start to finish, preferably in a healthcare environment* Strong expertise in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) application development and in Git or Azure Devops* Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers, including cloud-native services and deployment strategies.* Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern software development methodologies.* Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a strong technical culture.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.* Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Blazor is a plus.* Ability to interpret technical solutions for business process and procedure and be able to effectively communicate it to the client/vendor**Preferred Skills/Abilities:*** Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).**Physical Requirements:*** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)**Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) is a fundamental principle at HealthPlanOne, where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications.
