EMPLOYEE BENEFITS OFFERED Opportunity for career growth Paid time off Employee Discounts Responsibilities (as SALES LEAD): Take an active role with the Store Manager in daily store operations: opening/closing procedures, point of sale operations, inventory management and rotation, ARC merchandising standards, and donations. Assume responsibility for all day-to-day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager, and discuss concerns with the District Sales Manager. Assist Store Manager to monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive store sales and profitability. In the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager, schedule store employees to ensure coverage; coordinate daily meetings; provide coaching and development; process paperwork for Time and Attendance compliance. Ensure high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction and develop strategies to improve service and community relations. Support Back Room Processing to meet daily processing goals. Supervise, support, and conduct reporting of program Beneficiaries when Work Therapy Assignments are in place. In the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager, protect store currency, inventory, and property; manage safe funds and deposits. Ensure building safety and security during non-operating hours and follow alarm/alert protocols. Adhere to ARC safety policies and report incidents; assist in conducting weekly store meetings. May transfer or be relocated to other stores based on business needs. Complete tasks assigned by the District Sales Manager, Command Retail Directors and Command Administration. POSITION OBJECTIVES: Provide customers with the best selection and service while maintaining well-organized stores to support spiritual, social, and rehabilitation programs. Meet store sales and income budgets while managing expenses to maximize profitability. Foster a positive mentoring environment for Beneficiaries through collaboration with program staff. Implement Work Therapy Assignments and keep Beneficiaries focused on improvement. Qualifications to be considered for this position: Minimum one year of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred. Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry. Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, customers, and donors. Physical Demands: Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist. Ability to grasp and move objects such as files, merchandise carts, racks, and fixtures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform various repetitive motions. CORE COMPETENCIES: Problem Solving – Identify and resolve problems promptly; analyze information and develop solutions. Schedule: Stores operate 7 days per week. Schedules are determined by management; employees must be flexible to ensure coverage. Sales Leads may work various part-time shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications
Education GED or better. Preferred: High School or Equivalent or better. Experience At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a retail establishment; retail experience required.
