Permanent, Full Time

Location:
Remote; periodic in-person client meetings within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Hours:
Flexible schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours/per week

Compensation:
$95,000–$100,000 base salary plus approximately 20% bonus

Job Summary:

As a Certified Financial Planner professional, you will develop networks to grow our client's client base, raise awareness of the firm and their services within the education community, increase investments from existing clients within your assigned territory and work closely with lending staff within the territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person client meetings to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to grow their investment portfolios through sound, strategic advice.
  • Provide comprehensive guidance on investment products, retirement planning, cash flow management, tax strategies, and estate planning.
  • Deliver presentations to attract new clients and expand the territory's overall client base.
  • Clearly communicate the value of a well-structured financial plan and recommend appropriate products and services tailored to each client.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust sales strategies to maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be bilingual
    French
    and
    English
  • Current
    CFP (Certified Financial Planner)
    designation and eligible for registration with a CIRO firm in Ontario
  • Completion of post-secondary education is required.
  • At least five years of experience in financial services is necessary.
  • Ownership of a car is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial planning software is expected.
