Personal Support Worker

About the Role:

ProMax Employment Agency Ltd. is hiring qualified and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide in-home care for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and clients recovering from illness or surgery throughout the GTA. We offer flexible schedules and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Support with mobility and transfers
• Provide medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or chronic conditions

Requirements:

• Valid PSW Certificate from an accredited institution
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Recent TB test and up-to-date immunization record
• Reliable transportation (travel required to client homes)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
• Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour
• Location: Client homes across the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, and surrounding areas)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed
