Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for Group Exercise Instructors who are interested in teaching Aquafit to join our team as independent contractors/freelancers.
The Group Exercise Instructor is a key service position in the Fitness Section at The Boulevard Club. They will strive to provide excellent service, guidance, and supervision of physical fitness while at the Club. They will also ensure injury prevention and that members' needs are being met.
The freelance Group Exercise Instructor position involves the following tasks:
- Supervise and lead group fitness classes of varying intensities and styles.
- Monitor intensity and wellbeing of participants and report any accidents or incidents as necessary.
- Ensure injury prevention measures and safe activities are prescribed for all participants.
- Maintain qualifications and own insurance, in addition to remaining in good standing with the appropriate certifying bodies.
Qualifications:
- Current Aquafit certification is required.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position regarding lifting exercise equipment and demonstrating safe exercises.
- Creative team-player who is comfortable with teaching and training both in-person and online.
- Self-motivated individual with welcoming energy and engaging attitude.
Class Days & Times:
- Wednesday at 10am
Pay:
- Commission based between $55-75$ per session/hr.
