Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Product Advisor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in sales, possess excellent negotiation and communication skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to engage with clients in a highly respected automotive brand, manage a robust sales inventory, and contribute to the growth of our dealership through effective marketing and sales strategies. Multilingual abilities, especially bilingual proficiency in French, are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base. The Automotive Product Advisor will play a pivotal role in building lasting relationships with customers and driving dealership success.

Duties

  • Engage with prospective clients through retail sales efforts to generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct product (vehicle) presentations to promote vehicle options and dealership services
  • Manage and nurture an active client list
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Upsell additional products and services, including warranties and accessories, to maximize sales income potential
  • Support customers throughout the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current vehicle inventory, features, and market trends
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, utilizing proper phone etiquette
  • Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up schedules

Experience

  • Proven experience in retail automotive sales or dealership environments is preferred
  • Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, or import vehicle sales is advantageous
  • Demonstrated success closing deals effectively
  • Bilingual proficiency in French, is highly desirable
  • Experience with sales management tools and CRM systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies related to automotive sales is beneficial
  • Familiarity with negotiation techniques, upselling strategies, and deal closing processes is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
