WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

VCNA's Senior Analyst, Business and Market Intelligence is responsible for supporting the strategic sales and marketing planning processes including the Strategy Plan, Budget, and Rolling Forecast (RF) across VCNA's Business Units (Cement, Ready-Mix Concrete, and Aggregates). This role delivers actionable insights through the analysis of key performance indicators such as volume, pricing, imports, market share, and SWAPs. By leveraging a wide array of internal and external data sources, the analyst develops and utilizes standardized models and custom dashboards to inform decision-making and drive business performance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Plan, develop, communicate and monitor (KPI) for sales & marketing such as market share, volume, price, SWAPs, imports, cost and contribution margin and others.
  • Work with teams across business to generate insightful reports that mitigates errors, enhance accuracy, innovate views that supports timely and strategic decisions.
  • Support VP Reginal Sales (mostly Canada) by leading sales pricing management, customer's & market events and sport events (managing tickets)
  • Support the Market Intelligence team reassess current and propose sales & marketing strategy changes when needed to support VCNA Business Units goals (CEM, RMX and AGG)
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Strategy Plan and Budget (including RF, mid-month Flash) for CEM, RMX and AGG business.
  • Build a network of strategic partnerships, reliable external agencies and marketing professionals.
  • Attend marketing conferences and educational programs

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Minimum four-year business degree from accredited University or College; business, technology or engineering.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office Power Point, Excel, Access and data analytics platform such as Power BI and Python
  • 2-3 years' experience in business, sales, marketing, logistics and operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business governance, sales & marketing and operations (logistic and production plan) management
  • Knowledge of SAP/BW, mainly modules SD, MM, FI
  • Capable of communicating the investment versus additional value of innovative solutions by means of well structure business model.
  • Knowledge of collecting, reading, and migrating large volumes of raw data (ETL) from multiple data sources (Excel, Access, Web) and across disparate platforms.
  • Data analytics platform certificates (nice to have)
  • Experience in developing people, new leaders (nice to have)

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

Location: Toronto
