About

Education: A university degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry
A fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company, operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada, is currently seeking a Production Manager to oversee our production operations, lead a talented team, and ensure we deliver top-quality products on time and within budget. An experienced production leader who will drive efficiency, quality, and growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment is needed to join the team.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  • Oversee and manage production budgets using CRM software to enter daily production data, controlling labor, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Allocate resources effectively to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and other production staff.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of safety awareness.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to align production with overall company objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership experience managing 50+ team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in production management systems, CRM software, and related tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality control regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certification in Production Management or Lean Six Sigma is an asset.
