We’re looking for a Head of Applications & Data based from our office in Glasgow.
As Head of Applications & Data, you will be responsible for providing the application and data platforms Aggreko needs to accelerate growth, improve profitability, and enhance staff effectiveness.

What you’ll do:
Setting the applications & data strategy, considering application lifecycle and vendor product roadmaps
Leading and developing a high-performance team, attracting, motivating, and retaining talent, and building new skills to support business growth
Evolving the team's operating model to improve efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging our global footprint and the supply chain
Ensuring our BI capability evolves with new technologies, meets performance management needs, implements effective data governance, and drives improved data quality
Driving improvements in system usability and automation in core processes to meet the demands of rapid business scale-up
Ensuring appropriate IT controls are in place across the application and data landscape for SOX compliance
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
A pragmatic, delivery-oriented individual who can collaborate effectively across a complex global business
Commercial acumen to build strong partnerships with the supply chain and extract excellent value from platform vendors
Strategic expertise to set direction in a complex and fast-moving business and technology environment while balancing operational execution
Leadership skills to motivate teams, achieve high performance, work across diverse stakeholder groups with disparate demands, deal with uncertainty, and deliver superior results
