Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock, directly impacting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our logistics network. Your responsibilities will include conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste. A strong commitment to maintaining a safety -first environment, including proper lifting techniques and consistent use of PPE , is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to make a significant contribution to our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and report on stock rotation.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items, adhering to Lifting guidelines.
  • Uphold all company Safety standards and ensure the correct use of PPE .
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Support the Logistics team with accurate inventory data.
  • Recommend process improvements for inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory control methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Familiarity with warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
  • Basic understanding of Logistics principles is a plus.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
