About the role Our client is seeking a results‑driven Sales Manager / Sales Director to lead and accelerate sales growth across the UK and Ireland. This senior role is ideal for a commercially astute sales leader with proven experience in low‑value, high‑volume sales within the printing, packaging, or label sector.
You will play a critical role in achieving strategic sales objectives while embodying the organisation’s core values and long‑term vision.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership
Lead and develop sales activity across the UK and Ireland, driving consistent growth in line with strategic objectives
Strategic Execution
Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s values of innovation, responsibility, and sustainability
Project Management
Manage customer projects end‑to‑end with a high level of professionalism
Ensure clear communication, effective technical solution development, and timely intervention to deliver successful outcomes
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers
Deliver tailored, value‑driven, and sustainable solutions that meet individual client needs
Market Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support expansion across the UK and Ireland
Performance & Reporting
Track sales performance using data and analytics
Ensure KPIs are met and provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management
Negotiation & Deal Closing
Lead negotiations and close high‑volume, low‑value sales while maintaining service quality and ethical business standards
Required Experience & Qualifications
Proven success in a senior sales role within the printing, packaging, or label industry
Strong experience managing low‑value, high‑volume sales environments
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence stakeholders
Experience developing and executing sales strategies aligned with long‑term business goals
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Based in the Midlands, with regular travel across the UK and Ireland
