Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic finance team and contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization.

Duties

  • Manage and supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial processes
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and internal controls
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Train and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and professional development

Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and budgeting
  • Expertise in account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective leadership and communication abilities to lead a finance team
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously improve accounting processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,804.88-$75,869.66 per year
