Job Description
Our Vancouver, Tri-Cities & Surrey offices are recruiting for an experienced dynamic, bright, & client-service oriented individuals to join their Private Enterprise team.
How you'll make a difference:
- Plan and execute compilation and review engagements, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with ASPE;
- Preparation and completion of corporate, personal, trust and other income tax filings;
- Provide exceptional service to our clients, including managing the information flow;
Who you are:
- Working towards or recently designated CPA
- Minimum of two - three years of experience working with private, owner managed clients in a public accounting firm;
- Canadian tax experience including preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and various other required filings;
- Experience with Sage 50, QuickBooks CaseWare and Taxprep.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated strength in technical knowledge, specifically, of ASPE;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a positive rapport and convey concepts and services with clients;
- Detail oriented individual with superior organizational and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage time and adhere to strict deadlines;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office with the ability to quickly grasp new technological tools.
