What you'll do:

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for the operations of a busy Bakery Department. Duties will include:

  • The hiring, coaching, and mentoring of team members.
  • Baking and cake decorating.
  • Packaging, ordering, merchandising, and stocking shelves.
  • Customer service.
  • Make sure the bakery is clean.
  • Administrative tasks such as inventory count and control, auditing of food safety and health and safety tasks.
  • Reviews of financial information to improve operational efficiencies.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • You have a minimum of high school.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years Baking experience, preferably in a retail environment, a journeyperson baking certificate is an asset.
  • You are highly motivated, and work well in a team environment.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
