Measuring Criteria

It is the responsibility of the Production Supervisor to coordinate the People and Processes tied to the production floor to ensure that safety, quality and delivery are met for out Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production Environment.

Full

Manage daily production requirement to ensure on time, in sequence delivery to our Customer(s).

Full

Production Reports

Ongoing communication with Team Members, Safety Quality, Production, Team Building etc.

Full

Problem solving and troubleshooting production related issues and root cause analysis.

Full

Ensure that employees work in a safe manner – wearing prescribed PPE. Taking every precaution reasonable, providing awareness of risks.

Ensure conformance to company and legislative policies and procedure.

Supporting

Management of Time and Attendance systems.

Supporting

ADP

Conduct disciplinary investigations and review, focusing on corrective actions.

Supporting

Administration of the Collective Agreement and Grievance procedure under the direction of the Human Resources Manager.

Supporting

Grievances

Interface with Logistics department to ensure 100% material accuracy.

Supporting

Interface with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure PM programs and safety matters are addressed.

Supporting

Perform LPA's and resolution of issues.

Full

Maintain low scrap and rework focussing on root cause elimination.

Supporting

Follow division's KPI's and implement strategies to achieve divisional goals and objectives.

WCM – Duties as assigned

Full

Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the plant manager for Safety Related matters requiring immediate attention

Full

Take every precaution reasonable to protect the Health and Safety of the workers.

Perform Kaizens & investigations for every line defect.

Full

Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification

Supporting

Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair

Full

Supporting the launch of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
