We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, California. This role offers a comprehensive introduction to warehouse operations and is crucial for the smooth functioning of our entire logistics network. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Prepare outgoing shipments and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all established Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times when necessary.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.
- Adhere to proper Lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform a wide range of warehouse tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to team success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and the importance of wearing PPE .
- Familiarity with Logistics processes is beneficial.
