Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and organized? Join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona! This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system, which is crucial for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock, conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and report on stock status.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to streamline inventory processes.
  • Train new staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Uphold all safety standards, including the correct use of PPE during all warehouse activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects related to inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be capable of tasks requiring physical stamina, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics and warehouse operations.
