We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Baltimore, Maryland. This critical role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and safe handling of all goods. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity, enforcing safety protocols, and optimizing workflow to meet our logistics demands. You will guide your team in order picking, inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our supply chain. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems and best practices in logistics is essential. You will be expected to train new employees, conduct performance reviews, and address any operational challenges proactively. This is a leadership position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop your team. We are committed to a high standard of workplace safety , and you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. This includes proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment. You will also be involved in inventory control, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies. The ability to manage resources effectively and ensure timely order fulfillment is vital. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipment.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Train and develop warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics .
- Monitor and manage equipment maintenance.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Oversee receiving and dispatch processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Commitment to providing and enforcing the use of appropriate PPE .
