We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our busy distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments with care and accuracy.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reporting issues.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas.
- Support inventory control efforts through accurate movement and tracking of goods.
- Strictly follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Always wear and properly utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or operational inefficiencies.
- Perform manual tasks requiring significant Lifting when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a demanding warehouse environment.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and material handling techniques.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to Safety and a strong commitment to accident prevention.
- Good motor skills, coordination, and spatial judgment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the shift.
- A professional attitude and a dedication to quality work.
