Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Distribution Center Associate at our busy facility in Detroit, Michigan. This versatile role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of tasks from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. You will contribute directly to the successful fulfillment of orders and the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
  • Accurately store and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, including labeling and staging.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed (certification may be required).
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the broader Logistics and warehouse operations as directed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency with scanning equipment and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Dedication to maintaining a Safety -first work culture.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as operational needs dictate.
