We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock, ensuring seamless logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, performing audits, and maintaining precise inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Your analytical skills will be key in identifying root causes of inventory issues and implementing corrective actions. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse processes is essential. Safety is paramount; you will be required to follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While the primary focus is on inventory accuracy, this role may involve some moderate lifting of up to 25 lbs and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment. Proactive problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Execute cycle counting programs and physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances.
- Maintain and update inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, losses, and potential improvements.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure accurate stock management.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Support warehouse operations by ensuring stock availability and accuracy.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our logistics network.
- Assist in training other staff on inventory procedures.
