*Position Summary:*
The Physician Assistant (PA) is a vital member of the care delivery team, responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting organizational objectives. Through independent judgment, collaboration, and supervision by a physician, the PA manages and delivers care to patients, ensuring compliance with medical regulations and best practices. This role involves overseeing patient care activities and fostering leadership, partnership, and collaboration to optimize outcomes. Comprehensive training and ongoing development will be provided to ensure the PA is fully equipped with the clinical, technical, and organizational knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Gather detailed patient histories, conduct comprehensive physical examinations, and perform thorough assessments to evaluate retinal and related conditions.
* Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests to support accurate clinical evaluations.
* Conduct in-clinic procedures, as indicated, to support patient care within the scope of practice.
* Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans and monitor their effectiveness within the scope of practice.
* Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and care plans to ensure understanding and compliance.
* Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of practice to support clinic operations and patient care.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with active licensure in the State of North Dakota.
* Demonstrated professional competency, including strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive, caring relationships with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Empathetic and attentive to patients' needs and concerns, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing situations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $133,990.00 - $164,570.00 per year
