Snelling Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales & Logistics Coordinator for a leading client in Louisville, KY. This role reports directly to the Operational Finance Manager and plays a critical part in coordinating transport, managing freight costs, preparing export documentation, and supporting the sales and commercial team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a high level of accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Manage purchase orders and sales orders within the Transportation Management System (TMS). Coordinate transport across multiple sites to ensure efficient delivery of goods. Prepare accurate export documentation in compliance with legislation, customer requirements, and carrier guidelines. Ensure adherence to internal/external audit and regulatory standards. Obtain proof of delivery from logistics providers and submit customs compliance documentation. Create and review machine invoicing packets for SOX compliance. Provide backlog and sales reporting as needed. Support S&OP and dealer inventory reporting through data collection and analysis. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly with professionalism. Qualifications Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting. Experience supporting a sales-focused organization. Strong organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport coordination, ideally in an international manufacturing or import/export environment. Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience. High attention to detail with proven documentation and reporting accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software. Professional integrity, confidentiality, and strong work ethic. Additional Preferred Considerations: It may be worthwhile to consider candidates with experience working alongside local customs brokers, as they may bring relevant insight into documentation and compliance. While a manufacturing or logistics background is ideal, candidates who excel at multitasking, handling high volumes of communication, staying organized, following step-by-step processes, and even creating SOPs could also be a strong fit. Working Conditions
Position is on-site at the Louisville, KY facility. Shared office environment in a fast-paced setting.
