As the Systems Administrator I, you will provide onsite technical support to customers. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving clients network infrastructure. In this position, you will be an advocate for the client, ensuring Ntiva and the client are in alignment to reach the common goals of a secured and high-performance infrastructure that meets their business needs. Location and Work Expectations
This is a hybrid-remote role, with approximately 60% remote work from home and 40% on-site work at client locations in the DMV area. The specific allocation of remote versus onsite requirements may fluctuate based on business needs. Must have a valid driver's license and insured vehicle. Travel may require up to 1.5hr drive to the location. This role also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule. What you will be doing
Executes repairs, installations, changes, or coordination for onsite PC support requests, including workstation (hardware, software, peripherals, and connectivity) platforms conducted mainly onsite, and could require 3rd party coordination Troubleshoot and resolve profile issues for end users Troubleshoot and resolve application issues Restore files from backup Troubleshoot network issues Update ticket notes and details daily Preforms deployments and new system setups Performs datacenter visits as needed Frequently plans, designs, directs and executes PC projects Provided customer tutorials following best practices Youll be successful in this role if you have experience in/with
1-3 years of experience in the field of Information Technology General MSP industry knowledge Intermediate knowledge of workstations, including Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 operating systems, and Microsoft Office software products Requires foundational knowledge of current Windows Server operating systems, and Microsoft Exchange software or Office 365 Requires foundational knowledge of LAN,desktopand server hardware Previousexperience supporting external users in a commercial IT environment Strong problem-solving capabilities Requires excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills with a dedication to customer satisfaction Mustpossessexcellent verbal and written communication skills, andvery goodtyping skills Valid driving license & travelingrequired Required language skills
Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and thegeneral public Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
