Join Our Team! As a Quality Assurance Inspector Level 2, you will be a vital part of our mission to ensure the excellence of our products. Your keen eye for detail will be used to inspect assembled parts for imperfections, comparing them against blueprints and process sheets to ensure they meet and exceed customer standards. You will also perform essential electrical component tests while utilizing various measuring tools to uphold accuracy and compliance. Basic Qualifications: High School Education or GED equivalency. Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in using basic hand tools (e.g., dremel, cut-off tooling) and measuring devices (i.e., dial calipers, rulers, micrometers, gauges). Willingness to perform electrical testing methods (ohm meter, surge test) and possess relevant certification. Basic understanding of blueprints and process sheets, particularly geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Pass a visual acuity exam upon offer. Commitment to obtaining Braze, Weld, and Solder inspection certification as needed. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Use measurement and testing equipment to guarantee top-notch product quality. Record non-conforming parts and maintain comprehensive inspection records. Inspect raw materials and purchased parts to ensure design compliance. Apply statistical process control techniques when necessary. Adhere to internal process specifications and third-party requirements diligently. Assist in root cause analysis with relevant support functions. Accurately complete labor tracking documentation. Effectively communicate with team members regarding product issues or process changes. Identify and propose opportunities for enhancing product quality and operational efficiency. Engage in team initiatives while maintaining adherence to safety protocols. Desired Qualifications: 1-3 years of inspection experience in manufacturing. Basic knowledge of Quality System requirements (AS9100). Understanding of special processes such as brazing and soldering. Familiarity with electrical components and their testing methods. Experience in a self-directed team environment and lean manufacturing principles. Physical Demands: Continuous use of hands and fingers in repetitive tasks. Occasional bending, stooping, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Capable of pushing and pulling weights of up to 22 lbs.
