Data & Application Developer (VBA, SQL, Python/Java) – Contract (12 Months) | Hybrid – Saint-Bruno or Montreal

Must have: French English (bilingual)

We are seeking an experienced
Concepteur / Développeur
to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate excels in problem-solving, technical documentation, and collaborative development within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex business needs and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Design and develop software solutions using object-oriented programming languages.
• Support, maintain, and optimize existing applications and tools.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct investigations to identify issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain strong documentation to ensure sustainability of delivered solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment with flexibility and adaptability.
• Solid understanding of development standards and software engineering practices.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, Java, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Experience with databases such as Access and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Transact-SQL.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell.
• Experience with SAP-PM, SAP-BO/BW, QuickTestPro, GIT, or Stored Procedures is considered an asset.

Contract Details:

• Location: Saint-Bruno or Montreal
• Work Mode: Hybrid (onsite presence required)
• Duration: 12 months
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
