Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Property Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing property operations, maintaining positive tenant relationships, and ensuring the smooth functioning of property management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, experience with property management software, and excellent communication abilities to support our property portfolio effectively.
Duties
- Manage and update property records using Yardi and other property management software.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders through CMMS systems to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct data entry, filing, and documentation of tenant information, lease agreements, and service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and prospective clients via phone and in person, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
- Assist with lease negotiations, renewals, and rent collection processes.
- Support sales efforts by promoting available properties and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain organized files and records related to property operations, inspections, and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate property maintenance and improvements.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and preparing reports related to property performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with property management software such as Yardi or similar platforms.
- Strong office experience including data entry, filing, and administrative support.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of property management processes including leasing, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
- Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in sales or customer relationship roles is desirable.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
