Rafat General Contractor Inc. is a fast-growing, full-service civil construction company delivering roadwork, concrete, site servicing, parks, and ICI projects across the GTA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administrator who can provide strong project, contract, H&S, and equipment coordination support to our operations.

Position Overview

The Construction Administrator acts as a central support hub for Supervisors and Health & Safety. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely locates, organized project files, and compliance with COR requirements while keeping field operations flowing smoothly.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Contract Administration

  • Prepare, review, and organize project records (RFIs, submittals, permits, change orders, vendor documents).
  • Maintain contract documentation and compliance requirements for subcontractors.
  • Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and progress updates for project teams.
  • Keep digital and physical project files organized and easily accessible.

Locates & Utility Coordination

  • Create, track, and manage Ontario One Call and private locate requests.
  • Monitor statuses and ensure crews receive timely clearance before mobilizing.
  • Maintain accurate locate logs and communicate updates to Supervisors and PMs.

Equipment, Tools & Dispatch Tracking

  • Coordinate and dispatch tools, small equipment, and fleet resources to projects.
  • Track movement, return dates, and availability of tools/equipment.
  • Work with Fleet & Maintenance to schedule repairs or servicing.

COR & Health & Safety Support

  • Assist with maintaining COR documentation and audit readiness.
  • Track H&S forms, training records, toolbox talks, safety orientations, and certifications.
  • Support H&S Manager with incident reporting, safety onboarding, and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure crews receive the correct H&S documentation and policies for each project.

General Coordination & Administration

  • Manage daily logs, spreadsheets, procurement documents, and filing systems.
  • Assist with scheduling, job start packages, and communication between office and field.
  • Provide administrative support for multiple active jobsites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
