About

Sysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution. With over 71,000 colleagues and a fleet of over 13,000 vehicles, Sysco operates approximately 333 distribution facilities worldwide and serves more than 700,000 customer locations. We offer our colleagues the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, to contribute to the success of a dynamic organization, and to serve others in a manner that exceeds their expectations. We're looking for talented, hard-working individuals to join our team. Come grow with us and let us show you why Sysco is at the heart of food and service.

As a Sysco Selector, or as we like to refer to you, "Industrial Athlete", you will handle an average of 1,500 cases per shift, with each case weighing around 30 pounds and some weighing up to 70 pounds. The role is highly physical - you'll be walking, standing, stretching, and bending constantly, often covering more than 10 kilometers in a single shift. Because the work is repetitive, the ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys challenging themselves. The hours typically appeal to night owls, with shifts usually starting early afternoon and ending early morning.

Despite the demands, this role is highly rewarding. The pay is above average, with opportunities to earn more on each bi-weekly paycheck based on your ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely. There is also significant room for career advancement-many of our Managers and Senior Leaders began in this very position and grew their careers within our Fortune 50 company. With hard work and dedication, your efforts
