Cross Wind Farm is a small artisan goat dairy located in Keene, Ontario. We produce a variety of award winning goat cheeses and take pride in maintaining high standards throughout our production process.

Position Overview
We are looking for a team member who is comfortable with hands on work and interested in contributing to a small scale food manufacturing environment. This role suits someone with food preparation experience who wants to grow their skills in a production setting. The work involves regular physical tasks rather than reliance on automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate small scale tools and equipment used in food production
• Package finished products following company guidelines
• Check products for accuracy and quality before they move to the next stage
• Keep the work area organized and follow all safety practices
• Support inventory tasks such as counting, rotating stock, and restocking supplies
• Work cooperatively with other staff to help meet daily and weekly production targets

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience in food manufacturing or a food handling role is an asset
• Comfort with basic math for measuring, weighing, and portioning ingredients
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Dependability, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with others

Physical Requirements
This position involves regular standing, bending, and lifting. Applicants should be prepared for a role that is physically active throughout the shift.
