Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with the ability to create a variety of desserts and pastries that delight our customers. Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for all products.
- Assist in the preparation of various food items, including bread, cookies, and specialty desserts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests about menu items and special requests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a cook or pastry cook in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in a professional kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
