Social Media Manager – Hybrid

Join a dynamic pottery studio seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence and foster community engagement. This role centers on managing and growing our Instagram account, with the goal of building brand awareness, attracting new customers, and supporting ongoing marketing initiatives. The position is hybrid, primarily based in Toronto, offering flexibility to work remotely with occasional on-site collaboration. Deliverables

• Develop and execute a content strategy tailored to Instagram, including planning, scheduling, and publishing posts and stories.
• Create engaging visual and written content that reflects the studio's brand and values.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions in a timely manner.
• Analyze account performance using Instagram Insights and other analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations for growth.
• Collaborate with the studio team to promote events, workshops, and new product launches.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices relevant to the arts and creative industries.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Instagram accounts for brands, businesses, or creative organizations.
• Strong understanding of content creation, including photography, video, and copywriting for social media.
• Proficiency with Instagram analytics and scheduling tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working on-site in Toronto as needed; must be based in or able to commute to Toronto.
• Passion for the arts, ceramics, or creative industries is a plus.
