About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, and preparing accurate estimates for commercial construction projects. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with numbers, and helping win new work, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bids and budgets.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
• Collaborate with project managers to transition estimates into active projects.
• Maintain costing databases and track historical pricing.
• Provide value-engineering recommendations where possible.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and material costs.
• Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with budgeting or project management.
• Familiarity with local building codes and permitting.
